Dr. Mavrick Lobe brings his passion for living and his active, healthy lifestyle to his patients and practice.

He has spent years as a competitive athlete, competing in hockey, track and field, boxing, Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and bicycle racing.

Mavrick’s quest to study alternative medicine began at age 18, when his 39 year old father suffered his first heart attack. Watching his father battle cardiovascular disease piqued his interest in chelation therapy. His interest in pain management started with his boxing career in the 80’s.

In 1988 Mavrick graduated from Dr. Jay Scherer’s Academy of Natural Healing. He continued on to the International Institute of Chinese Medicine, graduating in 1995 with a Master’s degree of Chinese Medicine.

Dr. Lobe is licensed in New Mexico as a Doctor of Oriental Medicine with an Expanded Scope of Practice, and is a member of the American College for Advancement in Medicine.

Some of the modalities he specializes in include Chinese Medicine, Injection Therapy, Osteopathic Procedures, Intravenous Nutrient Therapy, Chelation Therapy and Body Work.

Dr. Lobe lives with his wife, Carin, and two children, Sananda and Jack, in Santa Fe. Originally from Alberta, Canada, Dr. Lobe has been in practice in Santa Fe for 20 years, where he continues his passionate studies of alternative medicine.
